Network capability

The top acceleration of your connection will be bound by the best acceleration of the mobile phone company's network. In the UK, O2, Orange and T-Mobile abutment 1.8Mbps, Three abutment 2.4Mbps and Vodafone abutment speeds up to 7.2Mbps.
However, it's one affair for the network to apparently abutment these higher speeds, but if the articulation from the mobile phone company's mast aback to the internet (called 'backhaul') isn't fast abundant you won't be able to hit the higher speeds. This is agnate to accepting a 54Mbps WiFi router at home, but connecting it to an 8Mbps ADSL connection - you speed is bound by the slowed articulation in the chain.
